Taraba State Deputy Speaker Escaped Death

The Deputy Speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly, Mr Adamu Tanko Maikarfi, this weekend escaped being murdered by unknown gunmen barely one week after the death of his boss, the speaker, Mr Haruna Tsokwa.
Mr. Tanko confirmed the incident saying he was trailed to
his brothers house where the incident occurred but on the arrival of the gunmen, he wasn't at the location anymore.
He also confirmed that nobody was hurt or killed.
